If you upload images to the website (e.g., when submitting a soccer event or through a contact form), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices to opt in or opt out of this data collection, please visit http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Our Site includes remarketing pixels provided by third parties. This allows these parties to collect the information that you have visited our site and were interested in certain offers. As such, we may display offers to you based on the products you currently own or have recently viewed, and deliver other communications relevant to you outside of our site. When Galaxy Soccer Brisbane runs competitions, we often need to receive personal information, including email addresses and physical addresses. We will not share your information as part of the entry unless you have explicitly opted in, or as a winner, when we need to pass this information to sponsors to allow you to receive your prize. By entering a competition, you automatically become a member of Galaxy Soccer Brisbane, but you can opt-out at any time. If the competition app fails at any time, the competition will be withdrawn, and Galaxy Soccer Brisbane will maintain the right to choose whether to conduct it again.

Except as described below, we do not share your data with any third parties and will not do so unless we are instructed by a legal authority.

We work with some third-party software to provide services to you, such as email campaigns, website hosting, and targeted advertising. Where any of your data is used for such purposes, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the third party is compliant with privacy laws and that they manage your data securely.

  • Mailchimp for the purposes of Marketing and Email Campaigns
  • Big Scoots for website hosting
