After one of the most exciting and ‘pleasing on the eye’ world cups in many a year and a general spike in soccer participation throughout Australia there has been a record number of children playing soccer in Regents Park, Brisbane…says Galaxy Soccer owner Lee Clark.
‘In school terms 2 and 3 we saw a huge amount of new children enrolling in our programs along with a big rise in soccer party bookings in the Regents Park area. Enrolments and bookings were up all across Brisbane but in particular Regents Park showed that there are some real soccer lovers in the area!
Players are coming from Calamvale, Park Ridge, Browns Plains, Boronia Heights and Greenbank to our childrens soccer programs at Regents Park and many arrive with quite a bit of knowledge on the world game!
A year ago many of the children would only know a few of the top players in the world by name, now they know how many goals they’ve scored, what club team they play for and most of their teammates!
Programs are after school or on Saturday mornings and for ages 3.5 to 10 years….Come and join the fun!..There’s not a better game in the world!
